The idea for the Package for Christmas
goes back to 2014. It was Joanna Błaszczyk's way to express gratitude for the successful treatment of her son. Friends, and friends of friends, came together to support her cause. Thanks to their collective efforts, she was able to prepare over 40 packages, which were distributed to the children at the Temporary Stay Unit of the Pediatric Oncology and Hematology Clinic in Krakow.

The year 2020 was exceptional for our Package for Christmas due to the prevailing pandemic. Despite this, we did not give up and adapted to the new conditions.
Due to restrictions, we were unable to visit the hospital wards in person. However, we introduced changes that allowed children to submit their letters online. We do like challenges!
In these difficult circumstances, our Santas did not disappoint. We fulfilled around 300 wishes and collected 15,000 PLN.
The gifts reached young patients in departments in: Kraków, Rzeszów, Katowice, Zabrze, Chorzów, and Institute of Mother and Child in Warsaw.
From the collected funds, we purchased a multifunction device with a supply of paper and warm blankets for the department in Rzeszów.

We managed to deliver 177 gifts in response to letters written by children from pediatric oncology departments in Krakow and Rzeszow.
We organized a photo session for children from the Oncology and Hematology Department in Krakow. The obtained photos were used to create a calendar for the year 2020. The income from its sale and other fundraising items with our logo supported our collection on zrzutka.pl, thanks to which we raised 16,336 PLN.
The collected gifts reached children in the Oncological Outpatient Clinic, the Oncology and Hematology Department, and the Neurosurgery Department of the University Children's Hospital in Krakow. Additionally, we sent gifts to the Pediatric Oncology Department in Rzeszow.
